This cherry burl slab is one of those pieces that stops people mid-conversation. The swirling, organic grain of a burl is nature’s most dramatic woodworking — no two are alike, and no craftsman could replicate it. We sourced this solid cherry burl, preserved the natural bark edge with a clear epoxy seal, and finished it to bring out the deep, warm tones of the wood beneath.

At 14" in diameter and 2¼" thick, it’s substantial enough to anchor a bourbon display — a bottle, a glass, a decanter — or to serve as a living pedestal for a favorite plant. Rubber feet keep it stable and protect your surfaces.
